Blue Green Planet Project is a reforestation initiative that funds large-scale forest recovery in partnership with Indigenous-led projects.

I designed and developed their new website as a custom WordPress build. The old site had strong work behind it, but the story and the path to donating were hard to follow, so I rebuilt it around how donors decide: what the mission is, proof of the impact, and an easy way to give.

I also research and write their long-form guides, including a comparison of tree-planting charities in Canada, a checklist for vetting a charity before you donate, and a business guide to carbon offsetting. They answer the questions donors and businesses are already searching for, from tax receipts to tree survival rates.

After launch, donations increased 355% month over month. With a clearer story and a simpler way to give, more of the people already visiting the site became donors.
