content strategy & writing
Monthly content built to rank in Google and get you visible in AI answers. I handle the whole process, from research and briefs to writing and uploading to your CMS, starting at 4 pieces a month.

the details
Most in-house marketing teams know content should be bringing in more of their pipeline, but there's rarely time to do it properly. Posts get written between launches and campaigns, often without research behind them, so they don't rank or come up when buyers ask ChatGPT or Perplexity for a recommendation.
Hiring a full-time content marketer takes months and a full salary, and freelance writers usually need detailed briefs, editing and SEO work from someone on your team before anything can go live. So the backlog grows, and competitors who publish more consistently pick up the searches and AI answers you should be showing up in.
Before I write anything, I get to know your business, product and audience as well as I can. Where possible, I talk to your sales team about what sets you apart, what problems people come to you hoping to solve and what objections come up along the way, and I go through your existing content, docs and sales materials. My goal is to understand your product and your buyers as well as anyone on your team, so every piece is built for your ICP.
Then I look at your whole site before planning anything new. I review what's performing and what's slipping, find pages competing for the same searches that would be stronger merged into one, and look for gaps where competitors rank or show up in AI answers and you don't. The new pieces and updates likely to have the biggest impact go first, and that becomes the strategy.
From there, I write content that's more useful than what's already ranking, whether that's a clearer answer, a comparison, original data or insight from your own subject matter experts. Each piece is structured so Google can rank it and AI tools can quote it, and it links into the pages that matter most to your pipeline. Because I handle the strategy and the writing, nothing gets lost between the person who did the research and the person who wrote the draft.

Pricing starts at $1,920 USD a month for 4 pieces, and you can increase the number of pieces each month if you want to publish more or your priorities change. Every article is priced on the work that goes into it: the research, keyword and AI optimization, examples and supporting data, internal links to your existing content, and writing that holds up against the best page on the topic. Each piece includes a round of revisions on the brief and a round of feedback on the draft.
what to expect
I get to know your product and audience, then review your whole site and how you show up against competitors in search and AI answers. You'll get a prioritized plan of new pieces and updates within the first few weeks.
Each piece starts with a brief and outline covering the angle, structure, keywords and sources. You review it, with a round of revisions, so it has your sign-off before I write anything.
First drafts arrive on a date we agree on, usually within two weeks of a brief being approved, written and optimized for search and AI answers from the start. You get a round of feedback, and I make the changes.
I upload to your CMS on request and link each piece into the rest of your site. We check in monthly on what's working, and most content starts picking up rankings within 3 to 6 months.

is it a fit?
Marketing teams, especially at B2B SaaS companies, that want to publish more each month without hiring. It's a good fit if you have a marketing lead who can review briefs and drafts, subject matter experts I can talk to when a topic needs real depth, and goals that go beyond traffic, like demo requests, signups or sales conversations.
It's probably not the right fit if you need a high volume of short posts on a tight turnaround, or if nobody on your team has time to review briefs and drafts. If you already have writers and just need direction on what to publish, content strategy is a better place to start. And if you need someone to own SEO across the whole site, including technical fixes and reporting to leadership, the fractional SEO lead is the better fit.

common questions
Do you write in our brand voice?
Yes. I start with your existing content, style guide and any examples you like, and I can put together a short voice guide if you don't have one. The first few briefs and drafts are where we fine-tune it, so later pieces need less editing.
Can you write from briefs our team already has?
Yes. I can write from your briefs, build them myself, or mix the two depending on the topic. If you only need briefs for your own writers, content strategy is the better fit.
Do you work with internal subject matter experts?
Yes. For more technical or product-led content, I can interview your internal SMEs and turn their expertise into search-informed articles, guides, landing pages and other long-form content. This is especially useful when the best information lives with your product, sales or leadership teams rather than in existing marketing materials.
How do you measure performance?
We’ll agree on the right KPIs for the work at the start. Depending on the scope, that might include organic traffic, qualified conversions, rankings, non-branded visibility, AI mentions and citations, content performance or technical improvements. I can work within your existing reporting setup or build a simple one if you don’t already have it.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes, there's a 3-month minimum on all ongoing work, billed monthly in advance. Working on a steady monthly cadence means each month builds on the last, so the work has more impact, and it gives Google and AI crawlers enough time to crawl and index your new content before we judge the results.
Audits and website builds are one-off projects with no ongoing commitment.
