content strategy

White label content strategy and AI SEO for your clients. I do the keyword and AI search research and turn it into content briefs your writers can work from, starting at 4 a month, delivered under your agency's name.

the details

Your writers are only as good as the brief they're given. When the research behind it is thin, or there isn't a brief at all, content gets written around guesses about what people search for, and it struggles to rank or show up in AI answers however well it's written.

Doing that research properly for every client takes time and specialist skills, especially now that clients want to know how they show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews as well as Google. Most agencies don't have someone who can do both, so strategy gets squeezed in between client calls and deadlines.

For each client, I start with the data: search demand, competitor rankings, how the site performs today, and how AI tools describe the brand next to its competitors. I sort what I find into gaps where competitors rank and your client doesn't, topics nobody in the space covers well yet, and existing pages worth strengthening, then rank them by demand and difficulty.

That becomes a prioritized page list and a set of content briefs each month. Every brief covers the angle, structure, target keywords and questions, internal links and the sources and data the piece should draw on, so your writer has everything they need before they start.

I track your client's AI visibility over time so you can show progress in Google and AI answers, and everything is delivered under your agency's name, in your templates if you have them.

  • Keyword and topic research
  • Audience questions from search, forums, reviews and AI answers
  • Competitor and content gap analysis
  • Site architecture and SEO/GEO strategy
  • AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews
  • 4 content briefs a month, ready for your writers
  • Interview questions for your client's subject matter experts in each brief, when a topic needs real depth
  • A prioritized list of new and refreshed pages each month
  • White-label delivery: your brand, your client relationship

Want to know where your client stands first? The AI search optimization audit covers their technical SEO and how AI tools see their business, with a 90-day roadmap and a white-label report on request, for $2,000 USD.

You get a prioritized list of new pages and updates to existing ones, so you know what to publish first for each client and why.

03

Each month, I deliver 4 content briefs covering the angle, structure, keywords, questions, internal links and sources, with a round of revisions on every brief.

04
track & refine

is it a fit?

Agencies with writers in place, in-house or freelance, who need to know what to publish next for each client and why. It's a good fit if you want to offer AI search optimization without hiring a specialist, or if your writers are spending too much of their time on research instead of writing.

not a fit if

It's probably not the right fit if you don't have writers to turn the briefs into content. In that case, writing & editing covers the research and the writing. If you just need a one-time look at where a client stands, the AI search optimization audit is a better place to start.

From $1,000 USD/mo

Content strategy starts at $1,000 USD a month, covering the research, 4 content briefs, a prioritized page list and AI visibility tracking. You can add briefs or clients as your workload grows.

Work is billed monthly in advance, with a 3-month minimum. Canadian agencies can be billed in CAD.

What's in a content brief?

The angle, the target keywords and the questions the piece needs to answer, a suggested outline and headings, internal links, and the sources and data the writer should use. Each brief also notes where competing pages fall short, so the writer knows how to make the piece more useful than what's already ranking.

Do you write the content too?

Not as part of content strategy, since your writers work from the briefs. If you'd like the writing handled as well, writing & editing covers the research, briefs and writing.

Can you work white-label?

Yes. Work can be delivered under your agency's name, including audit reports, so your brand and your client relationship stay yours.

Can you work within our existing SEO or content process?

Yes. You don't need to adopt my templates or workflow. I can work from your briefs and style guides, report in your format and run everything through your project management system, so the work fits the way your team already delivers to clients.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes, there's a 3-month minimum on all ongoing work, billed monthly in advance. Working on a steady monthly cadence means each month builds on the last, so the work has more impact, and it gives Google and AI crawlers enough time to crawl and index your new content before we judge the results.

Audits and website builds are one-off projects with no ongoing commitment.
