SEO services
SEO services for small businesses that want more of the right people to find them. I research what your customers search for and ask AI tools, then write and optimize the pages and articles that bring them to you, starting at 4 a month.

the details
A good website doesn't bring in customers on its own. If your pages don't answer the questions people search for, or your business doesn't come up when someone asks ChatGPT for a recommendation, most of your visits come from people who already know your name.
Most small business owners don't have time to research keywords, write articles and keep pages up to date on top of running the business. And SEO packages that promise rankings without explaining the work make it hard to know what you're actually paying for.
I start by getting to know your business, your customers and what sets you apart, then look at your site and how you show up in search and AI answers next to your competitors. That shows where the opportunities are, like services you don't rank for yet, questions nobody in your area answers well and pages that need strengthening.
Each month, I write and optimize the articles and pages most likely to bring in customers, from service and location pages to guides that answer the questions people ask before they book or buy. You approve a brief for each piece before I write it, so it sounds like you and covers what matters.
Every piece is structured so Google can rank it and AI tools can quote it, and it's linked into the rest of your site. I can upload it for you, and we check in on what's working so the next month's topics are based on real results.
- Keyword, topic and AI answer research
- Briefs and outlines, approved by you before writing starts
- Writing and on-page optimization
- GEO optimization so content gets cited and mentioned in ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews
- Internal links to your existing pages
- Uploading to your CMS on request
How it works
- Research and brief. I do the keyword and topic research and build a brief for each piece.
- Brief approval. You review the brief and outline, with a round of revisions so it has your sign-off before I write anything.
- Deadline. We agree on a date for the first draft.
- First draft. You get the draft on the agreed date.
- Feedback. You get a round of feedback on the draft, and I make the changes.
How I research each piece
I start with the data: search demand, competitor rankings, how your site performs today, and how AI platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity describe your business next to the competition. I sort what I find into three groups: gaps where competitors rank and you don't, topics nobody in your space covers well yet, and existing pages worth strengthening. Search demand and difficulty then set the order, so the topics most likely to pay off come first.
Before I write anything, I go much deeper on the topic. I look at what's ranking now, which sources AI platforms cite and why, what the searcher is trying to find out, and where competing pages fall short. Then I work out what we can add that's more useful than what already exists, whether that's original data, first-hand experience, a comparison or a clearer answer. That research sets the angle, structure, internal links and supporting data for the piece.
Every article is priced on the work that goes into it: the research above, keyword and AI optimization, examples and supporting data, internal links to your existing content, and writing that holds up against the best page on the topic. Each piece includes a round of revisions on the brief and a round of feedback on the draft.
what to expect
I get to know your business and customers, then review your site and how you show up in search and AI answers next to your competitors.
Each piece starts with a short brief covering the topic, angle and keywords. You approve it, with a round of revisions, before I write anything.
Drafts arrive on a date we agree on, written and optimized for search and AI answers. You get a round of feedback, and I make the changes.
I upload each piece on request and link it into the rest of your site, and we check in on what's working and what to write next.

is it a fit?
Small businesses with a website they're happy with that want more of the right people to find it, whether that's local customers searching for a service or buyers researching a product. It's a good fit if you can review a short brief and draft each month, and you'd rather hand the research and writing to someone else.
It's probably not the right fit if your website needs a redesign first, since content works best on a site that's built for search. In that case, the Signature website includes the strategy, copy and SEO. If you'd like to know where you stand before committing to monthly work, the AI search optimization audit is a good place to start.
From $1,920 USD/mo
SEO services start at $1,920 USD a month for 4 articles or pages, about $480 each, covering the research, briefs, writing, optimization and uploading. You can add more pieces as your goals change.
Work is billed monthly in advance, with a 3-month minimum. Canadian clients can be billed in CAD.
Do you do local SEO?
Yes. For businesses that serve a specific area, I write service and location pages around how local customers search, make sure your business details match across your site, and look at how your Google Business Profile and website work together.
How long does it take to see results?
It depends on the niche and the starting point, but most sites see meaningful movement in 3 to 6 months. Quick wins, like technical fixes and refreshing pages that already rank, can show up sooner. Competitive keywords usually take longer.
What's the difference between SEO and GEO?
SEO helps you show up in traditional search results on Google and other search engines. GEO (generative engine optimization) helps your content get cited and mentioned in AI-generated answers, like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews.
They overlap a lot, and good work for one usually helps the other. Everything I do covers both.
Do you write in our brand voice?
Yes. I start with your existing content, style guide and any examples you like, and I can put together a short voice guide if you don't have one. The first few briefs and drafts are where we fine-tune it, so later pieces need less editing.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes, there's a 3-month minimum on all ongoing work, billed monthly in advance. Working on a steady monthly cadence means each month builds on the last, so the work has more impact, and it gives Google and AI crawlers enough time to crawl and index your new content before we judge the results.
Audits and website builds are one-off projects with no ongoing commitment.
